I clean my front door maybe twice a year.

ALWAYS at Halloween.

This year when I was scrubbing away, I noticed tiny little baby cotton ball type things in the cracks, near the glass.

I reach over and begin to wipe them off, and about 20 tiny little spiders popped out.

Creeped me the mess out.

Ick.

I called Warwick and the realtor to put the house up for sale.

And then. . . .I came to my senses, killed all of the baby spiders and started dreaming about what a wonderful misfortune this situation was.

Spiders eggs. At Halloween. A decorators dream.

And what if. ..I had a giant spider egg.

That. . .would be pretty insane.

Hanging from the front porch lantern, threatening to burst, with giant baby spiders running amuck in the neighborhood, crawling into beds  with all the children. Climbing in their ears and noses and up the toes and in their hair.

What if.

What if it sat on my porch, just waiting to emerge. . .

With its big Mama spider seated atop,

waiting to pounce on anyone who dare harm her young.

 

GIANT SPIDER EGG: WITH GIANT SPIDER BABIES INSIDE

Oh. Yeah. You know you want one. And man oh man! This is so easy to make. Grab this stuff that you probably already have lying around your house, and you’ll have a giant spider egg in 5 minutes flat!

 

WHAT YOU NEED:

White or Cream nylon stocking sock

Ball (about the size of a softball)

piece of scrap white fabric, big enough to wrap around the ball

handful of plastic spiders

 

WHAT TO DO:

1. Gather your materials.

 

 

2. Wrap the ball in the scrap material.

3. Place the ball into the stocking and place the the spiders inside strategically.

4. Hang somewhere that will give people sleepless nights.  BWWWAAAHHHHAAAAAAH.
