how we weekend

It’s going to be hot here for awhile yet.

Mosquitoes will be biting at least until December.
And softball . . .
it’ll never get cold enough to make us stop. . .
them from playing.
So generally,
from now until late November. . .
that is what our little girls will be doing. . .
with a spattering of volleyball and soccer thrown into the mix.
Yes, I said soccer.
The baby who is technically NOT a baby anymore,
has decided to get her sports feet wet in futbol.
Not americano. . .
I’m not a nut.
Futbol. . .as in soccer.
Anyway, I digress.
That hasn’t happened just yet. . .
for now, its just softball.
All. the. weekend. long.

And for your viewing pleasure,
Soledad hitting a home run. . .
and me. . .
screaming like a crazy person.

PS- Warwick, if your reading this. . .I KNOW. I JUST FORGOT TO TURN THE PHONE SIDEWAYS. SUE ME. I WAS JUST A LITTLE FLUSTERED. I GOT A LITTLE OVER EXCITED. . . . .

  1. That’s awesome! Your girls are just so beautiful…and sporty! We are footballing (americano style) all fall long! The hubs is a-coaching, and the oldest is a-playing (for the first time), and me and the littles are just a-watching all the day long!

    1. Isn’t it so much fun??!!! I know you and the little’s are having a ball watching TJ play ball! *whispers* It may be just as much fun watching dad coach. . . .Good luck to TJ this season!!! What position does he play?

      1. It makes me a nervous wreck watching Thomas coach. It’s so different when they’re the “head” guy! TJ just started practicing last week, and games don’t start until the 28th. Not sure what position he will play, but pretty sure it won’t be receiver πŸ˜‰ He likes defense…but he’s pretty tiny…so we’ll see! And, he wants to be a running back πŸ˜‰ He says once the coach sees him run, he’ll stop looking for where to put him πŸ˜‰
